1. Introduction

Welcome to Klokr. Your privacy is our highest priority. This policy describes how we handle data in the app "Klokr: IQ Duel & Brain Train". We apply the principle of data minimization: we only collect what is strictly necessary for the game to function.

2. Data Controller

The controller responsible for the processing of personal data is:

3. Data Collection and Purpose

We do not collect email addresses or real names. The following data is processed:

• UUID (Anonymous ID): Created locally to save your XP and progress. (Legal basis: Performance of a contract).
• Display Name: A voluntarily chosen alias for leaderboards.
• Timezone: A general timezone string (e.g., "Europe/Stockholm") is saved to allow the app to send notifications at reasonable times for your region. No exact GPS coordinates or location services are used.
• FCM Token: A temporary technical address used to send push notifications for challenges. This is automatically deleted after 14 days via an automated TTL (Time-To-Live) policy.
• Advertising Data (AdMob): Only if you have given your explicit consent, Google AdMob collects device identifiers to provide personalized ads.

4. Storage and Security

All data is stored on secure servers within the EU (Google Cloud/Firebase in Germany and Belgium). We use industry-standard encryption to protect your information.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to delete all data we hold about you at any time.

How to delete your data: Go to "Settings" in the app and click on "Delete all my data". This will immediately and permanently delete your profile, scores, and unique identifier from our servers. Any remaining data in historical leaderboards will be automatically anonymized.
